Savona Caves

Hike up to caves that Natives of the land used for rituals and celebrations at the turn of the century. Be prepared for an extreme mountain hike up to the caves that will take approximately one hour return trip-about 6 kilometers.

One kilometer before The Roadhouse Restaurant in Savona, turn south on Tunkwa Lake Road. Drive 11 kilometers and turn right at 402 Road over the cattle guard. Park at the fork in the road and hike up main dirt road, then take a right on the old wagon road. Keep in mind that the trail leads off to the left at the end of the trail.
